About me
Hi and welcome to Newfound Racks! My name is Lisa and I live in Southern California. I’m married and a stay-at-home mother of two toddler girls. Please keep in mind this is my only source of income. So, I will do my best to be a respected pre-loved shop owner and I’m hoping you would do the same.
I love fashion! I love how therapeutic shopping can be even if it’s just window shopping. I love how clothes can make a person feel beautiful, confident, comfortable, and all kinds of happiness.
My inspiration
My inspiration to start this business NOW is credited to my dad. About a year ago, my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It was very aggressive. After rounds of chemo and immunotherapy, he lost his battle to cancer. He passed away a few months ago, after Thanksgiving but before Christmas 2021. It was a very difficult time for our family. The memories of him have comforted us. What I remember about him on a professional level is that he had the strongest work ethic I know (he worked until he was 75 years old, 6 days a week) and he believed in making people happy. I promise I will put the same efforts in my business.
My shop
All these pieces are from our personal closet. Since the women in my family are all different sizes, you will find a variety of clothes at Newfound Racks. Clothing sizes start at XXS Petite to XL. Depending on the brand, the sizes may vary so I will include measurements to help guide you in your purchases. Also, to help with this, most of the items are displayed on my mannequin. Her dimensions are: Height 68.9” (about 5’7”); Chest: 32.2”, Waist: 24”, Hip: 33.7”
We are not brand junkies. We love that we can find unique, beautiful, and stylish pieces from every brand. You will find pre-loved and new (with or without tags).
I love having repeat customers and doing bundles! I will provide discounts with 2 or more items in one shipment so please go through my closet and see if there’s anything else you like!
We live in a smoke-free household and we do not own any pets (although we love them!)
Please keep in mind that all items are pre-loved from our personal closet. Unless noted as new with or without tags, signs of usage, normal wear, and minor imperfections might show. Anything major will be noted.
