I’ve been into vintage clothing since I was a teenager, and my love for clothing from throughout the eras past has only gotten stronger. The last 70 years has seen myriad styles come and go, many of them returning again decades later in modernized form. I can’t help but feel that modern fashion, especially the low quality clothing that’s mass produced and barely survives its fifth wash, is missing that special something that makes vintage style so appealing.
Now that I’ve got far more clothing than I could wear in a year, in sizes that run the gamut due to my chronic heart condition that has made my weight fluctuate up and down over the years, I figured there’s no better time than now to pass these beautiful vintage pieces onto someone else who will love them as much as I did and free up some room in my closets.
I’m a bit OCD and go through each piece of clothing that i thrift with a black light. I tend to go overboard with packaging, especially tape. My mail person is terrible, and sometimes i have to check the ditch for my packages.
