Hi, I’m Michele — the maker behind Tighe & Co.
I started making candles while working for the NHS and taking a secondment to care for my mum, who lives with dementia. During that time, I needed a creative outlet, and candle-making quickly became more than just a hobby — it became a passion.
Our candles and wax melts (including our signature larger melts we call Puks) are all handmade in small batches using 100% soy wax. They're vegan, clean-burning, and made with sustainability in mind. Many of our pieces are decorated with forget-me-not flowers — a gentle tribute to those affected by dementia, like my mum.
We work with like-minded suppliers who care about the planet as much as we do, ensuring our products are not only beautiful but earth-friendly too.
