I made this rat tail and have never worn it as I made two at the same time and ended up using the second one instead. It is made out of minky and faux fur, the belt loop is made out of elastic and may need to be adjusted to fit what you need as it's very large. It is a very big tail, 6 feet long, 8 inches wide and is filled with polyfil. This is an amateur project and has very visible seams on the bottom of the tail (pictured) and a lot of imperfections, so I'm selling it for material cost. This is my first big sewing project and it is completely hand sewn.
I have worn the other tail made out of the same material to a convention and many fur meets, including outdoor ones and have had no damages thus far. I clean mine with Carbona laundry stain scrubber and fabric softener in the bathtub, this tail cannot go in the dryer and must be air dried.
