Up for sale is an authentic, vintage 1920s/1930s Noritake individual 3-cup teapot in the highly collectible "Tree in the Meadow" pattern. Features a beautiful hand-painted sunset landscape with an amber-yellow top and purple base gradient.
The bottom features the classic green "M in Wreath" Morimura Brothers backstamp, marked "Hand Painted, Made in Japan."
⚠️ CONDITION NOTE: Please read carefully. There is a hairline crack on the upper inner rim near the spout (see photos). Because of this, it is sold strictly AS-IS and recommended for DECORATIVE / DISPLAY USE ONLY. It should not be used for hot liquids to prevent the crack from traveling.
The lid is intact. Minimal wear to the gold trim, consistent with its 100-year age.
