Priced at a bargain! Harry Edward Nilsson III (1941–1994) was an American singer-songwriter of immense talent and versatility. Famous for his three-and-a-half-octave tenor range and pioneering vocal overdubbing, he is best known for the hit singles "Everybody's Talkin'" and "Without You".Despite being cited by Paul McCartney and John Lennon as their favorite American group, Nilsson's career was highly unorthodox. He remains one of the few major pop-rock artists to achieve significant commercial success without ever touring or performing a public concert.
1969 self-titled LP, Harry, is a standout 11-track pop-rock release. Notable for its brilliant songwriting, it includes fan-favorite tracks such as "The Puppy Song," "I Guess the Lord Must Be in New York City," and a cover of Fred Neil's "Everybody's Talkin'" (which gained fame as the theme for Midnight Cowboy). An absolute cult classic and a must have for any Beatles fan! This is the *Indianapolis Pressing* in VG+ condition. A fantastic gatefold copy to add to your collection.
