A rare find for serious vintage kitchenware collectors! This heavy glass rectangular loaf pan dates back to the 1930s pre-merger era, manufactured before the Hocking Glass Company and Anchor Cap & Closure Corp combined on December 31, 1937.
True to its early origin, the bottom is clearly embossed with only the classic Anchor logo and the word "Anchor"—entirely free of the "Hocking" name that appeared later.
Highly functional as a retro baker for meatloaf, banana bread, or pound cakes, and an exceptional display piece for a Depression-era glass collection.
