Beautiful vintage mid-century modern (MCM) anthropomorphic bird salt and pepper shaker set by Gold Castle.
These highly collectible figurines are crafted from elegant cream/white ceramic featuring a gorgeous all-over crackle glaze finish. They are intricately accented with hand-painted gold gilt trim detailing along their wings, beaks, tails, and pedestal bases.
What makes this specific set incredibly rare and desirable for collectors is that both shakers feature their original, fully functioning screw-on base assembly rather than standard rubber or cork stoppers!
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No major chips or cracks. Gold trim details remain bright. Beautiful clean crackle glaze.
• Markings: Both feature the clear, authentic stamped reddish-brown hallmark on the bottom: "Gold Castle - Hand Painted - Made in Japan" with the crown logo.
• Theme: Retro Kitchen / Kitschy Shakers / Bird Figurine / Mid-Century Decor
Perfect addition to any vintage kitchenware collection or shaker display! Ships quickly and securely packed.
