This isn't just a standard Sega Nomad, it is a definitive, console grade handheld experience. This unit has been professionally overhauled and modernized with top tier components to solve the common issues of the original 1995 hardware (blurring screens, failing capacitors, and audio limitations).
Technical Specifications & Upgrades
• Hispeedido IPS Screen: Say goodbye to the original blurry, ghosting display. This high contrast IPS screen provides vibrant colors, deep blacks, and a crisp resolution that makes Genesis games look better than ever.
• Full Capacitor Replacement: Every original electrolytic capacitor has been replaced with high quality, modern equivalents to ensure longevity, stable power delivery, and clear audio.
• Glass Screen Lens: The original plastic lens has been replaced with a premium, scratch resistant glass lens for maximum clarity and durability.
• Sega CD Audio Mod: Enables the Nomad to output high quality CD audio when used with specific homebrew or flash cartridges (like the Mega EverDrive Pro or MEGA SD) that support CD quality soundtracks.
• Sega Master System (SMS) Audio Mod: Corrects the hardware limitation of the original Nomad, allowing for full FM/PSG audio support when playing Master System games via a Power Base Converter or EverDrive Pro.
Condition
• Internal: 10/10 (Professional soldering and high end component upgrades).
