🎣 A special copy for serious fly-fishing and bamboo rod collectors! A Master’s Guide to Building a Bamboo Fly Rod by Everett Garrison with Hoagy B. Carmichael. This is the 1977 FIRST PRINTING, published by Martha’s Glen Publishing Co. 📖 ISBN: 0-8117-0352-5 The copyright page clearly states “First printing 1977.” What makes this copy especially interesting is the handwritten inscription on the half-title page: “For William McGuire – Thank you for your help –” followed by a signature and date 4/10/25. I cannot independently authenticate the signature, so please examine the photos closely. This is a highly specialized reference devoted to the traditional craft of building split-cane/bamboo fly rods. It contains 370+ photographs, technical illustrations, rod-repair information, rod-taper design and Garrison rod tapers. Hardcover with original dust jacket. Vintage/preowned condition. The dust jacket shows noticeable age/storage wear, including edge wear, creasing, marks and small tears. Book itself appears well preserved for its age. Protective plastic jacket cover is present. Please see all photos for exact condition. An excellent collectible for a bamboo rod maker, fly fisherman, rod-building enthusiast, angling historian or sporting-book collector. Prices are negotiable!📚 Bundle and save! 📦 USPS if you can. 😊
